UNDER THE BLANKET OF FREEDOM
An interdisciplinary performance project
Under the Blanket of Freedom (also referred to as UBF) is an interdisciplinary dance-music and audio-visual theatre performance piece embodying the psychological distance between generations through the use of text, scenography, projection, music, and movement as separate means of storytelling.
Author and Director Gyongyi Salla tells a story about relationships inspired by sociological, historical, political, anti-sexist and anti-racist interrogations. Whilst the play’s emphasis is on the story of three individuals as a metaphor, it also draws parallel lines to some of today's society's problems, aiming to embody a deeper, general conflict through media, music and dance.
